How can I avoid having my eyeshadow clump up on the top of my eye lid?

I use moisterizer and everything...and after about 5 hours it clumps up...and it gets annoyingHow can I avoid having my eyeshadow clump up on the top of my eye lid?
ok 1st off dont use that much just get a little at a time apply it to ur lid n wipe off with your hand n keep applying until u think ur done. How can I avoid having my eyeshadow clump up on the top of my eye lid?
if you're using powder eyeshadow, apply a light layer of a powder or shadow that matches your skin tone. that should soak up some residual oil and allow your eyeshadow to go on evenly %26amp; not clump. if you're using creamy shadow, either use less, wait a bit longer for the moisturizer to dry, or get some new shadow (it's not good to keep makeup for too long anyways).
- dont use alot of eyeshadow

-get better quality stuff that doesnt clump on top of ur eyelid
what kind of makeup are you using? well u might want to try another kind of eyeshadow
.
Benefit makes an eye make-up sealer, It's called She Laq.
get better eye shadow, and apply less of it. good quality stuff won't clump like that. go to a dept. store. and start with foundation first, then shadow.
Let your moisturiser soak well in first, dab off any extra so you have a drier surface for your shadow. If this doesnt work try another 1.
Great question!

2 things:

1. Make sure to moisturize the skin above you eye so that the eyeshadow is able to go on a smooth surface

2. Make sure that you use a nice clean eyeshadown brush, preferable something with a fluffy tip - they have some great ones by MAC, I believe it's the 219 brush

Good luck!
