What should I apply Urban Decay (oil slick) eyeshadow with? And should I wear it wet or dry?

It's my favorite! But i read that applying it wet makes it even more vibrant. But i don't want to ruin it or anything...How do you apply it wet anyway?

Also, what kind of brush should I use to apply it? I usually just put it on my whole lide, and under my eye where my bottom lashes are. I use this small, short brush with coarse bristles. It's rough and hurts my lid though, plus it takes a while to cover the whole lid.

A pic of the proper brush would be nice, but a good description would do too. I might have one because I got a small pack of brushes but i think they are mostly lip gloss brushes, a blush brush, and a very tiny sponge brush. You really should try a new brush no matter how you apply. Your brushes should not hurt your eyes! The brushes at www.kileng.com are AMAZING and really good prices, too! You should either the small or large all over brush ( http://kileng.blogspot.com/2008/12/brush鈥?/a> ), dampened, to apply the eyeshadow wet. Just get a paper towel wet and wipe the brush on it or spritz the brush with water. If it's too wet it won't work right. Just put the wet brush into the eyeshadow and swirl it around a bit, then apply it to your eyes.

You should also try an eye primer before you apply your shadow to really give the color an extra boost and more staying power whether you apply wet or dry. What should I apply Urban Decay (oil slick) eyeshadow with? And should I wear it wet or dry?
I have used Urban Decay's line of brushes, and they are amazing. They are so pricey but totally worth it. The bristle hairs are synthetic, which means its also cruelty free! =) But yeah, The brush is soooo soft, and it works great.

If you're looking to fill your whole lid I would recommend this brush
