Would a purple smokey eyeshadow match a navy shirt/top?

i want to use a purple smokey eye but im going to wear a navy blue tunic top, would it match? if not what colors would? im also wear light wash jeans and a black coatWould a purple smokey eyeshadow match a navy shirt/top?
yeah, i think the purple would math but put more grays than purple because blue and purple are very close and if they're both dark it can clash, meanwhile black looks good with anyone and anything.

Makeup is supposed to be fun, so just have fun with it, if you like it, then who cares what anyone else thinks. (as long as you don't look like a clown) Gray would look nice too though..but then there wouldn't that ';pop'; of color that you would get with the purple.
Possibly. Maybe try a blue somkey eye instead. It would look better too. The purple smokey eye would be fine though. I hope this helps.

Depending on how dark the navy shirt/top is. But I wouldnt recommend it unless you got some very light brown eyes. Gray would do a nice watch or a soft earthy tone.
Maybe if you wear some purple jewelry that matches both.
