I just bought an eyeshadow (goddess/urban decay) and aside from applying normally, i can use it wet it too?
How do you apply it wet?How do you ';apply your powder eyeshadow wet'; ?
First, you need to decide what you want to use to make the eyeshadow ';wet'; . You can either use water, mixing medium , or eye drops like visine. I suggest you use mixing medium which is a mixture of 3 parts of water to 1 part of glycerin. Think of it as water coloring . The more water you add to the paint, the less saturated the color gets . But if you don't have glycerin then use eye drops or water.
Anyways, you don't want to apply the water directly to your eyeshadow because it might seal your eyeshadow over and it will be ruined. Instead, Get some eyeshadow onto your brush then put a drop of water into a water bottle lid or some other plastic flat surface and use your brush to mix the eyeshadow and water together.
Then, you can apply it normally onto your eyelid.
You can also use this method to use your eyeshadow as an eyeliner. Just use an eyeliner brush . Goddess is a good color to line your eyes because it is a dark blue.
Applying your eyeshadow wet makes it more vibrant. How do you ';apply your powder eyeshadow wet'; ?
Run your makeup brush under luke warm tap water then squeeze out the extra water. Dab or rub it in the shadow then ';paint'; you eye lid.
I apply all my shadow this way for a more vibrant look - I use a fan brush to fade the lines.
Use a separate applicator and wet it a bit before dipping into the powder.
All you have to do is take your applicator or brush and wet it with tap water. If you are in an area without any sink nearby you can use toner or even non-oily eyemake-up remover too.
Yes, Use a separate brush or applicator and lightly wet it. It will give you a deeper look.
Use warm water and apply more.. it gives you a dramatic look thats definetly hawt! =]]
