Wet eyeshadow technique when using pressed eyeshadow... How do you do it?

When you have a regular pressed eyeshadow and you want to make it more intense, you put it on wet. But do you scrape it into a dish of some sort, or just use a wet brush on the pressed eyeshadow? I used to do the latter but the eyeshadow would get hard and I'd end up having to scrape off the top layer. So should I just scrape it into some kind of dish to make it loose, then use a wet brush?Wet eyeshadow technique when using pressed eyeshadow... How do you do it?
this is a good technique i use, i wet the brush and use that on the pressed shadow BUT only use it on half of the eyeshadow, then, one side can be used for when you use it wet, and the other side is used when you use it dry, this way you dont ruin the whole top of the eyeshadowWet eyeshadow technique when using pressed eyeshadow... if you apply a small amount of face lotion or petroleum jelly to your eyes just before you apply pressed shadow the color is really intense and has a wet look to it.
Wet the brush on the pressed eyeshadow.
