I just bought a really neat green eyeshadow. I have a lighter olive color skin and dark brown eyes. What is the secret to wear it without it looking tacky? The secret to wearing bright color eyeshadow?
The thing to do is to keep the rest of the makeup natural and make your eyes the main focus. Only use the green shadow over the lid and not above the creases or brown bone. I would apply it with an eyeshadow brush because it will apply the shadow more soft and evenly. Line only the bottom of your eyes and one coat of the mascara. It won't overpower the eyes but still make the eyes the focus of your look. The rest of the face should be soft, soft beige-pink blush and a nude brown gloss. The secret to wearing bright color eyeshadow?
as long as you keep the rest of your makeup natural looking and use products that dont add color, colorful eyeshadow can look nice. also, try using an eyeliner that is a similar shade but a bit darker so it looks pulled together
u can wear the color along with a darker one....like in this pic. the lighter color would be ur green and maybe a darker green OR black one would be the darker color...if you are using lipstick u want to keep ur lips as natural as u can so u don't look tacky...good luck

hope I helped.
Don't put it on too thick, and don't go above your eyelid.
The rest of your face should be natual-looking, or you'll look like one of the ladies I saw at sephora ... -shudder-.
And keep your outfit simple, too.
its all in the way you put it on.. dnt go overboard, use the shaddow as an accent to darker colors and liners because you have olive skin.. blk liner and smokey shaddows allong with the pop of green should do well ^.^
hope that helps
Don't wear alot of other makeup. At the maximum I would wear some brown mascara, brown liner and lip balm.
And don't wear a flashy outfit with it! Jeans and a dressy white or black shirt would look pretty. Simple jewlery, if any.
You want the makeup to be the main focus when you are wearing bright makeup. Good luck!
