I just purchased green eyeshadow, any tips for applying bright eyeshadow?

Only use it on crease on your eyes. Then put a lighter color on the rest of the eye. Instead of using eyeliner use the bright green to outline the top and the bottom were the eyeliner is supposed to go. It looks really nice.I just purchased green eyeshadow, any tips for applying bright eyeshadow?
use a little bit of water on the brush to concentrate the color at your lash line then blend/fade up toward the crease from there. Don't pull the color all the way up to your brows like you might with a neutral or it will look like Halloween. Also remember to tone down your cheeks and lips to make people see your eyes first and not look like a hooker.

have fun with it, good for you experimenting with color. if you're confident and think you look good then you will look good.I just purchased green eyeshadow, any tips for applying bright eyeshadow?
Rely on pale, shimmery shades to enhance your eyes.

Sweep a light Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow shade across lid from inner corner to a small bit beyond the outer corner. Place a touch of a deeper shade in the eye crease. Blend.

For Wide-Set Eyes

Make them appear closer by applying a deeper Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow shade from inner corner to mid-lid.

Apply a lighter shade from mid-lid to outer corner. Blend in the middle of lid where shades meet.

For Close-Set Eyes

Make them appear wider by applying a dot of Invisible Concealer to the innermost corner of both eyes.

Create a very thin Perfect Point Plus Pencil line near lash edge of top lid that thickens toward the outer corner.

Use Eye Enhancers 1-Kit Shadow in a pale shade from inner corner to mid-lid; apply a just-slightly deeper shade from mid-lid to outer corner; blend in the middle.
Yes...don't do it. You will look like endora from bewitched!
Blend well!!
Green is an amazing color to use on the eyes...even though many women overlook it! Depending on the shade of green, you can try using it wet to apply as a eye liner around the eyes (a deep jade or Forrest green is great for this). Then you can take a slightly lighter green and apply to the lid area. With a color like Greene it is very important to apply thin layers and build up the color to your desired look.

If you do a green eye, keep the cheeks fresh and neutral with a peach or light pink cheek, and the lips fairly nude, or a sheer cherry color for a nigh time look. You can also experiment with combining the green with gold shadow which looks amazing in photos and for a night time look as well.
