For greenish eyes, its always good to go with a gold shimmery
tone, but if they turn more brownish you might wanna play with

you think looks best. I'd just say try a whole bunch of things,

Im a Cert. Skin Analyst and Makeup Artist, to make your eyes stand out go to the opposite side of the spectrum. If your eyes are honey or hazel, try blues, violets and greens (my mom has honey brown eyes also and these look awesome) Be daring with color.
The smoky look would go great on you. Use plain navy eyeliner with black mascara on those days you don't feel like wearing makeup. Your eyes wont be missed!

Do gold highlight with taupe in the crease and mascara, kinda subtle and a nice bold red lip
OR

If you want people to look at your eyes and their beautiful color, then don't wear color on your eyes. Try natural warm color such as a tawny brown. Best of all is a little blush on the curve of your eye and your blue eyes will pop. Try it. I promise it works!

i would suggest going to MAC makeup store, they will match great shades for your eye color and skin tone, and they have a ton of variation! when you're going with stuff out of the basic brown/black eyeliner, and bronze eyeshadow, it helps to get professional help on different shades you should choose!

Try wet and wild from wal mart. They make a double sided eye liner, purple and black and the purple is really bright. Also check out their eyeshadows as well.

I have a light tan skin tone, AND sensitive eyes. It鈥檚 really hard for me to find eye shadows that leave a color on me AND don鈥檛 make my eyes hurt. I used to use Almay, but it鈥檚 not really working for my eyes anymore, which is surprising. I use purples, browns, blues, blacks, light tans and colors like that. I do not like MAC brand after a little experience with them as well. I have tried making the brush wet, but it starts to look funny after a while. You have to try Loreal HIP (High Intensity Pigments), they're the best. I like the color duos, they look wonderful. I just went to Wal*Mart the other day and purchased some and they are phenomenal. They come in awesome colors, especially the metallics. They're a little under $6 each at Wal*Mart, but other stores (like Ulta) have them for a little higher price.

well you can go to the nearest drug store and find make up but some make up say its for sensitive eyes. you should look their. maybe you can also shop online for sensistive eyeshadow it works!!!

Having dark skin is actually a huge advantage if you're into bright colors because colors are a lot less likely to clash with your skin and to bring out unflattering undertones. The only precaution you'd have to take is that often bright eyeshadows are a lot more subdued on darker skin, but you can counteract that by using an eyeshadow base, especially a colored one (that can get really fun because you can see different effects with the eyeshadow with different bases). A white eyeshadow base would be perfect to start with, then you can start experimenting. You can try NYX Jumbo Pencils (but use a light hand with them, the tend to crease) and you can get them from www.cherryculture.com. If you go to Sally's beuty shop, they sell tons of make up, just make sure you pick very bright colors, they will look gorgeous on your skin complexion.

I'm looking for a bright green eyeshadow that i can buy in the US (online or stores, it doesnt matter).. putting vaseline over the eyeshadow will make it look shineier!
You never want to use a shadow that's too much lighter than your skin so go for one that's a shade or two lighter. It will bring more attention to her eyes without looking obviously made up. Or you could use a taupe colored eyeshadow matched with a white eyeliner along the top lashes ONLY for an eye widening effect.
Use lighter eyeshadow. like pink,white,yellow, red ect. Stay away from the blacks,browns,tans,and blue ect.

I like the Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow, sparkly %26amp; creamy
Rimmel has the ';stars'; line which is the BEST I've ever tried, it's really sparkly and comes in a roll on. It's powder not cream which is better because creams are too thick and sticky and by the end of the night will form ugly clumps or crease.....
they had some really nice %26amp; smooth glittery eye-pencils in Zara %26amp; all their make-up is 拢2 now,
H.I.P. and mary-kate and ashley olsen work the best i think.

(At least, that's true here in US.) But for real bright colors with glitter, my go-to has always been Hard Candy. Their glitter eyeshadow actually has a cream base of nude or black, with glitter to tap on top. I think it's better to pay a little extra for eye glitter because cheap glitter can be damaging if you get it in your eye. I don't know any drugstore brands that make them in *bright* colors, though. Have fun!

Im not sure where you buy them from but perhaps if you searched the name of the product on Google they might come up with some stores for you.
It may not be too cheap but the range definatley looks amazing. I would recommend trying Urban Decay, easily found in Boots. It has everything from multi-coloured glittery liquid eyeliners to edible shimmer dust! It can be quite expensive though.
i used to do this all the time when on a night out, firstly buy a thick eyeshadow usually the cheap ones aimed at young girls (prob get on local market) or make up stall and apply to the eye, then buy the little pots of glitter seperate (that cost about a pound) and apply over the eyeshadow with a cotton bud. as the eyeshadow is thick the glitter will stick to it!! its best to get a silver eyeshadow as any colour glitter can be added over the top as bright as you want.
p.s prob best to do your skin make up after the eyes if possible as the glitter tends to get everywhere when applying it so give your face a wipe down then apply foundation.

Urban Decay- they have a bronzey orange, and a reddish orange, but neither are bright tangerine orange, even with primer.

In Sephora there's this brand that has flourescent orange(I have it!), yellow, green, blue, purple, etc. They're in a black square container about .5cm thick. On the top you can see a little slice of the colour through a clear plastic rectangle strip. I'm not positive whatit's called but I'm sure if you look around Sephora you can find some stuff.
Also MAC Cosmetics has nice colours. Prices are about 16$ CND for a thing of eyeshadow. It's worth it. I think but apperantly they test on animals. So if you're against that then I'd suggest looking at the packaging before you buy. If not then both MACs and the products in Sephora are where I'd go.

Its Red Nose Day tomoz and I'm gonna wear bright red eyeshadow (with liner and mascara). Will that be too much?
Erm red will look quite bold so i suggest blending it with another colour maybe orange or yellow or something along them lines.
I think it would look better, or maybe instead you could paint your nails red or use red clothing accessories or a red bracelet / jewellery or something..just a thought!

Red eyeshadow tends to make you look really tired, and sometimes even sickly if it isn't applied right.
I personally love red, its like one of my fave colors, so to prevent the odd look I can get sometimes when I wear it this is what I do:
- I use an under eye concealer, a lot of it, and blend it out really well so it still looks natural.
- I use a white eyeliner on the inner rim of my eyes instead of black because it really opens up my eyes anad makes them look larger, but I still use my pencil liner on my bottom lashline and my liquid liner on the top.
- I use a nude shimmery color all over my lid with a medium brown in my crease (basically my everyday look) then I place the red color on top of the medium brown in my crease because it really helps keep your eyes looking fresh and not too crazy and wierd.
- I also use a white eyeshadow all the way around the tear duct of my eye and under my brow bone to highlight. If you are darker then me, which everyone is because I am white as crap, stick with a shade that is two or three lighter than your skin tone.
- Mascara is a must! I always always always curl my eyelashes because it too opens up your eyes and makes them look larger.
(I love to wear bright colored clothes, so this is EXACTLY what I do when I wear my bright red pants because it still gives me that vibrant pop of red but its not too crazy and drag queen-ish, I just get tons and tons of compliments.)

Rock it girl! No color is off limits, wear what you want to. Even if you are a bit shy, it should be easy to pull off. A little bit of clear lipgloss with your eyes and you will be good to go.
YES! ur eyes will look 2 bloody! do black eyeliner. black mascara and do red mascara tips! it would be amazin!

Help with cat eyes and bright eyeshadow?
I have so much trouble trying to get the cat eye look perfected. It takes me forever to even get something close to what I'd like. I mostly use Revlon prodects and other things that aren't tested on animals. Here's what I'd like.

Cat eyes:
I used to struggle witht his as well. The key to the cat eye look is to follow the natural slope of your eye. I've found if you follow the curve of your lower lid upwards that it makes the best looking cat eye. So just iimagine your lower lid continues up towards your brow and use that as your guide for the liner. Obviously, you want the liner to be thinner on the inner corner of your eyes and to gradually get thicker on the outer corner.
Scene shadows:
You have a very nice complexion so any color you choose will probably look decent. Purples and lavenders typically look good on everyone so that may be a good place to start. I think the best color for you would be peach (something subtly orange and pink). Bright blues (think aqua) and goldish green would look nice too.Help with cat eyes and bright eyeshadow?

First thing first.It's called eye-shadow because its just supposed to be a ';shadow'; over the eye.No self-respecting make-up professional will ever approve of bright coloured eyeshadow that looks like paint.
I would suggest you go for a darker shade of eye-shadow(matte purple,maybe) and keep the green liner.Not everyone can carry of coloured liner like you.That's something to be proud of :)

I think you shouldn't wear a blue eyeshadow because it doesn't exactly match with this yellow outfit. Although yellow and blue do match sometimes clothing wise, when it comes to makeup it is different. I think you should keep your eyes natural looking with a light pink eyeshadow or sparkly cream colored shadow to not take away from the yellow part of your costume. And you don't want your eyes to stick out with the blue eyeshadow since yellow is already bright, you don't want people to become overwhelmed when they see two bright colors on you.

BRIGHT COLORS ARE THE BEST WAY TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) My ultra faviee color would have to be ummm...well to many to choose from i just love them all!!!!!!Any other bright eyeshadow color wearers on yahoo?

Bright eyeshadow isn't natural but who cares? :P

So if you don't like them there, I wouldn't suggest wearing them. The only cheap highly pigmented eye shadows I have found are Max Factor and Milani singles that can be found at the drugstore or coastalscents.com sells palettes for $22 that I have seen elsewhere for $90 and $120. I just ordered one after I read reviews that the color payoff and quality rivals MAC. I haven't used it yet because I've been sick but I can't wait!

The only cheap highly pigmented eye shadows I have found are Max Factor and Milani singles that can be found at the drugstore or coastalscents.com sells palettes for $22 that I have seen elsewhere for $90 and $120. I just ordered one after I read reviews that the color payoff and quality rivals MAC. I haven't used it yet because I've been sick but I can't wait!

they have tons of colored eye pencils in any drugstore or walmart, and HIP eyeshadow which normally come with two colors in one container are pretty vibrant, also maybeline has bright colors as well..eyeshadow at sephora has bright colors for as low as $9.Really bright eyeshadow ?
the HIP shadows are decent, although a few are a miss (some are difficult to pick up and deposit on the eye). However, with a good primer (if your lids are oily, then use a primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion, if not then just use something like cream eyeshadow, which is what I use over my urban decay) then those will work fine.
There are other covergirl eyeshadows as well that have nice colours and good pigmentation.
Those are the well known brands that I find work best at the drug store. There are other brands in Canada that I like, such as Annabelle, but if you do not live in Canada those are not going to be available.

It depends on your skin coloring. If you have a yellow tint to your skin, pick warm colors like chocolate brown . If you have pink undertones, opt for cool shades like plum or navy blue. Gray is a neutral that almost anyone can wear. Smudge your eye make-up with a cotton swab or brush for added effect.
Any colour of eye shadow will look good. Try using a light colour like macs Vex or natural shades in light browns and fawn on your entire lid or go in for a light golden colour and line it with a blue eye pencil on both your lids. Smudge the pencil with a smudger brush, which should be dipped in a blue pigment before smudging. This will give a nice smokey look. Then line it with a Aqua blue eyeliner. Use a dark blue shadow for contouring your eyes just above the lid. Start at the outer end and go up half the length of your eyes. Must blend well with a clean brush. Use Macs' rice paper eye shadow just below your eye brows to bring out your eyes. Blend very well. Use Macs' Teddy eye liner pencil inside your eyes.The magic to good make up is blending, and blending. use a brown Mascara on your lashes but first curl the lash with a warm eye lash curler. use a brown brow set by Mac on your eyebrows sparingly. Finish off with a nice pink colour powder blusher on the apples of the cheeks, blend towards your temples. Just lightly brush the entire face with the blusher brush to give it an even colour. Use a pink shimmer powder just below your eyes and sweep it outwards . Always use a good compact make up before applying blusher.

I'd find a shop that sells theatrical or photographic makeup - the colours they use are extra bright with high pigment content to combat the bleeching effect of the lights. Try dance, theatre supplies and fancy dress shops. Also shops that taylor for stage drag queens tend to supply bright and outrageous colours. Look at www.grimas.com for examples ;)

I read that lighter complexions should go with light eyeshadow colors and darker complexions should go for darker, but I say play around with eyeshadow colors. I found some pics that might help you.

That blue chrome is a pretty color.
Honestly I think the liner will be enough itself. Putting too many bright colors on the eyes can be overpowering. The colors will not compliment each other and ultimately it will look draggish.
just use some sort of hue that's in between green and blue. but dont wear eyeshadow that matches exactly with your eyeliner, just an off color that kind of matches. ==hope this helps, hun==
Hmm maybe wing out the blue eyeliner? So have blue cat eyes and wear white eyeshadow on your lids. That will look cool.

just put on black because black go with everything

Bright Eyeshadow? Brand?
I'm in highschool and i want a bright eyeshadow that i can wear all day without having to touch up alot of re-do. Any good brands that wont budge? Or any brands of primers that will help it stick? please repost.Bright Eyeshadow? Brand?
If you're looking for funky bright colors like red, neon green, hot pink and so forth, try Hot Topic. They have a pretty wide selection that are priced for the budget. Also you can walk into any Sephora store or MAC and find eyeshadows in a huge array of colors from many brands.
If you're not located near a store, I know Sephora atleast has an online store to browse on.

NARS is pretty good, which you can also buy at Sephora and Ulta. It's pretty pricey, though ($21 for a single, $30 for a double).

MAC has good eyeshadows and so does Estee Lauder
M.A.C. has some good ones, but I'd have to say your best bet is Urban Decay especially their Delux Eyeshadow

Hard Candy eye shadow. You can buy it at Sephora or Ulta. Also M.A.C. makes the best eye primer.
I find that creme shadows of even the cheapest brands tend to stay put during the day. You could also use water and a makeup brush on powders. As far as primer, a dab of foundation on your lids should hold everything in place.
Bright long lasting colors? Jane Cosmetics offer a wide range of options and colors for eyes. With colors such as Funky Valentine, Surfer Girl, Prom Queen, Clubbing, and Grape Vine you cannot go wrong with their Eyezing line. They offer a line called Iced Shadow is shades such as Groove Princess and Candy Glam and a similar product called Radiation with colors like You're Golden and Trance. Seriously, if you're looking for bright hip colors that will last through the entire day you need to check out Jane.

I think Mac has the coolest colors and it lasts all day.
Use a good base underneath, it will help it stick. But Urban Decay from boots is the best - it does really nice colour eyeshadows and eyeliners and alough it may look expensive, is really good value for how good it is! And Too Faced also from boots is also really good and about the same prices.
